Saturday, November 22, 2025 marks an important chapter in the history of Stalam: the official opening of the new Innovation HUB in Nove, a facility designed to accelerate the development of radio frequency technologies for the food industry.

With more than 1,800 additional square meters, the new center significantly expands Stalam’s operational space, offering areas specifically dedicated to research, development, application testing and customer demonstrations. It is a place where engineers, food technologists, industrial partners and research institutes work side by side to design, test and validate the next generation of radio frequency solutions.

A private investor club deal organized by Deal Source Italia has completed the acquisition of 100% of Stalam’s share capital in partnership with the company’s management from the IdeA Efficienza Energetica and Sustainable Development fund managed by DeA Capital Alternative Funds SGR.

Stalam, active since 1978 in the production of radio frequency equipment, operates through 4 plants between Italy and China, employs 120 people and has a network of over 70 agents/distributors and 20 assistance centers worldwide and generates a turnover of more than 23 million euros.

Deal Source Italia will support Stalam in a further phase of expansion, supporting it in organizational development and growth activities also through acquisitions.

The french company wanted to defrost frozen 20 kg blocks of H&G pollocks and compare the results of different “settings” to obtain the best yield and the fastest defrosting time.
With the last setting, in 35 minutes the temperature of the blocks was increased from around -18°C to around -2/-1°C, without drip losses and hot spots.

On September 7th, 2018 Stalam celebrated its 40th anniversary in a beautiful historical location in Bassano del Grappa (VI).
